Laura Martin is disrupting the education market in Africa by launching coding bootcamps across the continent and bridging the gap between technology and education. “She has transformed lives by giving people who had no skills in tech access to the job market,” one of her superiors said. Her passion and engagement to the cause is described as unique and she is said to “have the power to transform Africa”.
She is a senior business analyst at Honoris United Universities. She is responsible for the platform’s mandate of including the new language of the future of work – coding – into the Honoris portfolio. She is the project manager of Le Wagon Africa, in charge of launching a coding bootcamp across 17 African cities within the next five years.
