Before co-founding Teacherfolio three years ago, Liz spent 18 years as a Primary teacher and senior leader in both the state and independent sectors, where she taught and led all year groups in the Primary phase.

Liz’s own experiences of teacher recruitment prompted her to co-found Teacherfolio, where she strives to increase candidate insight to ensure that schools recruit teachers who are the best-fit for them. Everything that Liz has done in her career has been done with the impact on children’s learning at the forefront of her mind and she has always put her staff’s well-being before her own, according to a peer of hers. “This is a great opportunity for Liz to get the recognition that she deserves,” they added.

As Teacherfolio has grown in the past 12 months, Liz has “revolutionised the way teachers are recruited”, helping schools to recruit teachers who are a good-fit for their school in a time and cost-effective manner.
