Professor Dilshad Sheikh has more than 20 years’ experience in the higher education sector, having held roles ranging from teaching in the classroom to senior management positions. She is currently the Dean of the Faculty of Business at Arden University.
“As a woman in a senior leadership position at Arden University Dilshad has personally been an inspirational force to me. Thanks to her dedication and hard work, she enables all to be empowered to be creative, develop ideas and speak up,” one of her colleagues said. “Dilshad’s personal success is only part of the picture in what she brings to the figurehead role she has attained, equally important is the inspiration she instils through pushing women within the Faculty to find their own success, to progress, and to move up the leadership ladder.”
Dilshad, originally from Kenya, joined Arden in 2020 and became the University’s first ever Dean. Now positioned very much at the forefront of the institution’s growing reputation as a pioneering digital-first university, Dilshad’s passion, enduring commitment to education technology, and real-world-relevant academic expertise have been central in leading the successes of her Faculty.
