Sam Raven might only be in the first decade of her career, but she is already leaving a mark. She is a strategy director at Supporting Education Group and has eight years of experience working in the sector. She began her career with Teach First, then moved to PwC’s strategy consulting team where she worked on 18 education projects and joined her current organisation in March 2022.

Her impact since joining the organisation just months ago has been described as strong and her ability to “ground strategy in what is important for schools and learners” is already being noticed by the executive team.

“Her knowledge of the sector, and her willingness to build and support a network within the sector, is very strong,” someone said. She is praised for her approach to teamwork and supporting her managers, and ability to quickly make a name for herself in the business she recently joined.
